Kannywood actor Ali Dawayya has recently embarked on a new venture by opening a modern restaurant called Zabuja Restaurant.
The grand opening ceremony took place on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Gidan Dan’asabe on Zoo Road in Kano.
The event featured esteemed actor and Managing Director of the National Film Development Board, Ali Nuhu, alongside Ahmad Salisu Alkanawy. Many fellow actors were present to congratulate Ali Dawayya on this new chapter.
In an interview with a film magazine, Ali Dawayya shared his excitement about the restaurant’s opening, stating, “I was truly happy to see so many people attend, especially Ali Nuhu and Ahmad Salisu Alkanawy, who played significant roles in the event.
I wish everyone the best. I opened this restaurant to create a solution for myself, as my previous business has been affected by changing circumstances. In our film industry, we often feel constrained despite the growing demands of life, so I realized the importance of diversifying my career.”
He further elaborated, “The food business is essential and meets daily needs, which is why I chose to enter this line of work. Our goal is to provide modern cuisine for our customers, whether they dine in, take out, or enjoy their meals elsewhere.
I am grateful to God and to everyone who participated in the opening of Zabuja Restaurant. This opportunity to launch the restaurant at this time has been a blessing.”
