He reported that Nigeria’s domestic economy, measured by GDP, grew by 2.98 percent in the first quarter of this year.

Shettima made this announcement while leading a Federal Government delegation at the opening of this year’s Lagos World Market, as reported by Daily Trust.

He emphasized that the plans developed by the Tinubu administration have been put into action to further strengthen the country’s economy.

Represented by his Special Assistant on Regional Development, Dr. Marian Tomitope Marshall, Shettima encouraged participants at the world market to explore opportunities for improving the economy.

He reiterated that Tinubu’s government is committed to facilitating business for the benefit of people both within Nigeria and abroad.
