Prenatal care and care for pregnant women is a right for everyone – Ali Nuhu

The Chairman of the Nigerian Film Board and prominent actor in the KANNYWOOD film industry, Ali Nuhu Muhammad, said that parents and the community have a role to play in addressing the high number of women during childbirth and the death of children.

He also explained that the actors in the film production also have a role to play in raising awareness among the community on issues related to prevention, the fight against polio, and the challenges of the children who go to school by bus.

Ali Nuhu explained this during a meeting with the media after the meeting organized by the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, with stakeholders on tackling the challenges of preventing children who do not go to school, women’s problems, and others in Kano. On Tuesday.

He said that as a UNICEF ambassador, they can do their best to raise awareness among the community.

“Being a UNICEF global ambassador, I do many things with them. And I will continue to play a role. I am informing on social media, all the information that is available to me I am trying to convey.

Ali Nuhu also appealed to parents to take care of their children’s vaccinations where he explained that prevention is better than medicine.

“It is the right thing for a person to take his children to vaccination before anything else. Some children end up losing their parents when they grow up because they failed to take care of them when they were young.

He then called on governments to focus on improving health facilities at the primary level to take care of women and children.
